Previously, the service use was limited and only available via invitations, but now it’s open to all and any one can log into. The company even added a feature of “search” in their social network that will help the users to search for recent posts of their friends and family. It’s a strong attempt by world’s powerful online search engine to compete with Facebook that is being considered the gigantic social site worldwide.
Facebook has an enormous pool of users of about 750 million who use their applications for social networking. This news feed from Google comes in response of f8 conference, held in San Francisco, in which the creators of Facebook claimed that they are about to unveil certain new features of Facebook for their users.
Google has added a new dynamic feature of video chat to their Google Plus social site, named Hangouts. According to Google, this feature will facilitate the online users to let video chat with multiple users at a time and be available on smart phones. Currently, the feature of “hangouts” is limited to cell phones having Google’s Android system. Support of this application, in Apple, will be launching soon.
According to Google, one more feature, “Hangouts On Air”, will soon be introduced, allowing the users to view videos online as spectators. As per Google, the feature will be started for limited number of broadcast, hosting its first hangout of B.E.P lead-man, William, on Wednesday.
